re iPhone dial skin – weel done it looks great! But the really useful thing about large dial screen is to have large texting letters for a touch screen. Are u going to put in texting letters in the number dial pad?

I know the signal icon to the left of the cingular text is fake, but the REAL signal meter, which i have placed near the middle, does not report correctly, it always says I have full signal, when I don’t.

I still love the skin other than that. Just the signal thing is a minor annoyance.

copy osx_WAD folder to into your pda in Themes/desktop/ folder
(root/Themes/Desktop/osx_wad/)
and click theme settings icon in the settings panel or the load wisbar advance and click desktop, select theme manager and select the osx_wad theme

*osx_wad folder is osx_wad.rar right?

for wisbar advance:
copy osx_WA folder into stroge card or the ramdisk folder.. click wisbar advance settings in the programs/wisbar advance/wisbar advance settings… select custom theme, press customize and press import theme button.. select the osx_wa.skin file which you copied to where did you want and press ok… it’s done!

Thanks! I am not a graphics guy, so maybe you can answer this. When I resize a picture to 72×72 Photoshop wants to constrain the image and make the picture a different size. And when I manually do it, it looks funny. Any suggestions?

@Angusz: you need to write “%MissedCalls% (and you have to install latest beta of WAD).. when you press the iphone icon, it’s open the contactsdock.. crop and transfer the png or tga format pictures on your storage card, click over contactsdock and select new / shortcut.. type phone number, uncheck use default icon, then sleect the picture as you transfered, select shortcut is a phonenumber… it’s done

and the background is standard with the all theme, if you want to change it, you must have winCe cab manager.. open the cab file and change all buttons which is contains in the cab file.. and wisbar advance theme too

thank you for the first set of instruction but i am a tad bit lost now cause it works but the interface is all wrong…….. the middle portion still looks like the regular desktop but thedailpad works and the top and bottom bar look different

Everything is fine. The only problem I have was the bar on the top of desktop. The ´cingular´ is under ´desktop menu bar´. I think I can change something on WA to remove this, but I did not find. Could you help me?

I’m using a simple program call “Right Click Converter”, because I don’t know anything on photoshop. This program is very good for user whom doesn’t know how to manipulate images (my case…ehehe). Take a look on this icons, please:

hi, i had %MissedCalls% problem. I upgraded to latest Wisbar Desktop. now it shows the value. but it shows total missed calls (i.e. 56). i want to see recent or unseen or new missed calls. how can i do that?

I have read the discussion looks like I’m the only one facing this problem. When i assign WAD stting to the os_x WAD, it just change the tsk but not the setting like your preview picture (device lock, icon, etc). is it rite or something wrong with my installation? if this is rite then can someone be helpful enough to make the tutorial sorry im a newbie in this thing, thx in advance

1- from http://www.lakeridgesoftware.com/?pg=beta
download the new BETA application of Wisbar Advance 2 (file is wisbaradv2.armv4i.2_7_0_2.cab) AND Wisbar Advance new BETA (file is wisbardesktop.armv4i.1_2_0_9.cab). Grab the desktop installer if u dont know how to install cab files directly. My advice is to install em both on STORAGE CARD as they use A LOT of space. AND when you installing WA2, do not check the top box, something about using WA2 theme, again a lot of spaces wasted there.

2- download the files from this website, 3 of em 1 for WA2 (osx_wa.rar) 1 for WAD (osx_wad.rar) and the last one is for dialer skin, but beware, i think the smart dialing does not work with this, i might be wrong but w/e, the file is (Dialpad_iPhone.rar).

3 next, unzip/unrar the 3 files u get from this website. You will get osx_wa\osx_wa\some files, osx_wad\osx_wad\files and Dialpad_iPhone\iPhone.cab

4 Next, copy the osx_wa\files folder to the root of your storage card (to save space, but u can save it into your device, your call) MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT COPY THE OSX_WA\OSX_WA\FILES, JUST THE SUBFOLDER

5 then, copy osx_wad\files folder into ur main storage under THEMES\DESKTOP folder, there should be some default folders in there

6 Now go to start\program and go into wisbar advance 2 folder. Click on WisbarAdvance2 settings. Click on Customize, then Import Theme. Use the drop down button and look for storage card\osx_wa2 folder. Chose osx_wa file and click ok 3 times i think, until u get back to Wisbar Advance folder. Now Click on Wisbar Advance 2.

7. Now i assume that you get to iphone skin. Now, to ensure that the WAD runs ok, click and hold in the middle of the screen. Ther will be a drop down menu and you click on Theme ManagerThen you click on Desktop Theme and if you copy the osx_wad folder properly there will be osx_wad option. choose it and click ok twice.

So to summarize, the WA2 is to skin the menu button and backgrounds and the WAD is for the nifty button at the bottom of the screen ^^.

OPTIONAL:

8 K, now you want the dialpad to look like iphone too, so lets install the cab file. just copy it into your storage card and run it using resco explorer or file explorer for you cheapos.

There you go, enjoy the theme.

P/S – there is some issues with the skin, some of the picture files is not linked properly and the signal/battery meter just dont work and that f-ugly cingular start menu….
BTW – for iWeb, if u click the button, it will bring up the slider and if u want to use IE, click on the word iWeb instead.

Forgives me to importunate you, but I have you some questions:

1) What “Virtual Page” command does? I clicked on it, but I couldn’t back the page any more… :\

2) To use the PPC’s pad to return the page, the command “Default” must be the middle icon, right? In your theme, is the icon above “IWeb” (I changed to “black icon”). I tried to put this command in other positions, but it didn’t work. This command is very interesting, cos we can change the page with one-hand.

3) Is it possible create more than one “Dock”? My first idea is create a new group of icon on each icon in “Dashboard”, cos on your original theme, the 10 icons appears when clicked “ISetting” (only). I would like to create new “Docks” on each icon. I think something like this: “Tap Action: Toggle Dock” -> “Control: Dock 1… 2… 3 etc” and new icon’s group appears. Something like what I did with Spb plugin. Take a look, please:

See? I created 5 icons’ group: SYS, FUN, TEXT, PLAY and APP. On each group, I have specific programs to the name of the group. I would like to do the same with your wonderfull theme, if it is possible.

Ozan, Nice effort. Unfortunately, I noticed some significant problems with the stability of Wibar Advanced Beta. Do you have plans to add landscape functionality to the skin? Right now, when landscape is activated, it renders the phone to state where it needs to be soft-reset. Also, is it possible to have the initial icons to be linked to a program instead of the actions that are given (or is this a limitation of Wibar Advanced desktop plugin)? BTW the phone skin is nice.

To Ozan: First of all the iphone theme and the dialup is a really great job. I do have a one question.

But I have another problem: when I assign a shortcut to one of the buttons you’ve made (sms sender for sms for instance), it will work for a time and then, when my phone goes in stanby and I switch it on again, the shortcut won’t work. Is it because of my phone’s rom or did I do something wrong ?

Sadece seninki ve fabrikanın çıkardığı orjinal skinler çalıştı. diğerleri çalışmıyor. Zaten işin ilginç tarafı ortalıkta gezen skinler 300-400 kb boyutunda iken, senin ve fabrikanın skinleri 2000 kb civarında. Şimdi u tespitlerden sonra bende kendi temam üzerinde çalışıyorum fakat ne dialped skin bulabiliyorum nede hazırlayabiliyorum. Dialpad skin editleme yada hazırlama konusunda bana bir fikir (site adresi, program vs.) verebilirmisin.

I resolved the plugin problem: created a new page only for weather’s plugins…

From the pictures I have seen on your website, you have done a phenomenal job creating this skin. I recently downloaded / installed WisBar Advanced 2 on my HTC 8125, and stored the folder in what I believe to be the appropriate directory, but when I locate the theme.skin file, I have no way of selecting it. :/ I tried posting in the Lakeridge Forums but as of yet I have not heard back. Sistem açıldıktan sonra prgogram ekle kaldırdan bu yüklemeleri kaldırdığımda artım tüm skinleri kullanabilir hale geldim. Biraz karışık oldu galiba..

1) The signal icon/meter is not working? Wherever i have my device it shows 4 bars of signal.

2) Is it possible to change the “Cingulat” text on the taskbar with our provider name?

3) If i will install the .cab with the DialPad in the future i will be able to remove it? It will be shown at the “Remove Programs”?

Here in Brazil, we have to pay more 60% over the value of the product. Then, if you it cost 1000, here it will cost 1600 to import…

I installed the wisbar advance desktop and wisbar advance (trial version); the themes/desktop folder showed up and I was able to load your files. But that was it. Well It it running good on the 8125, I cant get it working.
this is very annoying. I am using WA and when I go to the custom theam it just changes everything but the home screen. And I see no icons on the screen nor the stuff on the bottom.

The way I got it setup is… 1st section Action: Toggle – Dock Control: Contactdock 2nd section Action 2: None – Control: nothing. Is there a directory on device that has contackdock?

@danny: this icon is just a picture.. but there is some clock plugins in the wisbar advance desktop.. but i don’t know how to use it.. maybe i can find it in next week with my new toy

Ozan, it says at the top of the page the theme is finalized. I downloaded this a month or 6 weeks ago. Is it the same version or a newer more updated one?

hey i have a quick question. Is this compatible with treo 700w? Because i tried intalling everithing using your guide. But i dont get any change on my screen. just to clarify… I got the top bar and the phone dialer options to work but I still have the majority of my desktop screen as a WM5 screen…. I want the whole iPhone interface to show up…

yah you have to paste in windows >start menu >programs
and then chosee the place where u wannt to set it it will be in the Installed Apps.

First i Wanted to say thank you for everyhtin.. i got the theme working except…..

im trying to customize the blank photo contact dock ive followed your instructions but something isnt working
i clikc iphone then properties put the correct phonenumber as the executible file and then the 45×45 png file i put in a contacts folder under themes desktop… however when i press ok it never saves the number stays the default one and the picture is still grey. and half the time the docks wont even pop up

having trouble installing the gcal. when installing the cab file . given error installed unsuccessfully . any help

If you do figure out a way to have to use less than 18MB of main memory, maybe 12MB or so, please let me know. OR a way to run this off a storage card, as I did install everything on my storage card, but it kept taking away main memory. As I want this pretty bad.

Hi! Thank you for the Package. Actualy i’m using the HTC Touch with Windows Mobile 6. So the skin Iphone for “gCalc” and for “MortPlayer” doesn’t work… there is no skin Iphone for the “Contact”… but it’s good the same! But i have one problem, how can i “Block the keyboard and the screen”, on WM6 with the pocket PC Skin, it was on my “home” (Today)… But now, impossible to do it… Do you know how to do it? Thank you

I’m using a treo 700w. When I select a number to dial using the buttons, the number is dialed but I don’t get the graphics. The main iphone desktop theme remains on the screen. Where’s the one with the different options (speakerphone, hang up, etc)? Thanks. BTW, I like the theme. Also, the “fish” photo for the background needs to be moved up on a square screen I think.

How i can quit a today plugin??

okay so I paid for the theme, and hit return to merchant as instructed, then RapidShare came up with the .rar file… but it continuously tells me that my download session is invalid! what to do?

I downloaded everything like you said. I have purchased wisbar2, but I am not seeing the task manager under my settings menu. Any clues as to why it’s not showing up. I have already tried a hard reset.

I can not get this theme to work with Wisbar Advance 3! Any suggestions??? It loads fine with WA2 but it expired!!
